I am working on a project about addiction and looking for folks that might be interested in sharing their own story of addiction, recovery, and sobriety. It would be largely the person telling their story in their own words with minimal involvement from the person interviewing them. People are welcome to be anonymous and would not need to share any identifying details or names.
Hey friendos, we're about to dial this up to 11, or maybe more like 1 since it's been mostly just Nerd Out Loud and Little Red Bandwagon for the last few months. If everything goes as planned I am hoping to bring at least one, if not two new shows to you in the next few months along with a slew of updates to this site and a even some contributions from other folks!
But Jeremy, how do I make sure to be the first to know about these exciting updates?
I am so glad you asked! All you ...
A little over a week ago Christy and Mike came up with the idea for little red bandwagon. I excitedly offered to help make it happen and figured it would be a great motivation to finally finish the website I have been talking about for over 5 months.
Smash cut to 4 am the day of their first show posting and here I am anxiously making adjustments and adding lots more than planned to the "this page can't quite go live yet" pile. Don't get me wrong, I've had this site wire-framed for months and have been slowly adding content and creating pages, but as the good book says the devil is in the details.
With that in mind, welcome to the "soft launch" of tenseventen.com! I'll be adding content over the coming weeks (including the full back catalog of nerd out loud episodes) but most importantly I will be exploring the community piece of this whole operation which is what I am most excited abouty. Take a look around at what we do have and drop me a line here if you have any thoughts. I'd love to hear from you and I can't wait to see where this all goes!
I'm going to bed now, I'll leave you with this little quote from Ira Glass that helped push me over the edge to get this thing off the ground.
